Travel information

  • Venue: the meeting will take place at the RIfS-IPO Office
Address: 550 Sherbrooke W, Tour W, 19th floor, Montreal, Canada.
  • From the airport, a taxi is easiest but there is a good public transit option: a direct bus to downtown Montreal (STM bus 747). At the baggage claim level go all the way to the right. The 11CAD fare, which also is good for the metro for the next 24 hours. You must purchase before you get to the bus, or have exact change. When you step outside, the queue for the bus is a short walk further to your right. The first stop will be Station Lionel-Groulx, where you can transfer to the metro (line 1 – the green line, towards Honoré Beaugrand) and get off at McGill station. The office and hotel and within a 5 min walk from there.
  • Hotel: A limited amount of rooms have been pre-booked for participants at the L’Appartement Hotel, located less than 5 minutes from the venue. Price per night: 189CAD$+taxes, breakfast included. Please confirm with the IPO before August 16 if you want to confirm a room at this hotel.
