RIfS’ International Project Office (IPO)

The RIfS IPO serves to coordinate and carry out the work of RIfS, in collaboration with the SSG and other volunteer members of task teams, working groups, and other panels as may be established, and working with the WCRP Secretariat.

Local Partners:

RIfS is receiving major financial support from the 2030 Plan for a Green Economy from the  Ministère de l’Environnement, de la Lutte contre les Changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs (MELCCFP) over the five start-up years as well as a grant from the Fonds de recherche du Quebec (FRQ).

 

Host:

The RIfS IPO is hosted at Ouranos, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Ouranos is a collaborative innovation hub enabling Quebec society to better adapt to an evolving climate. The consortium brings together upwards of 450 researchers, experts, practitioners and decision-makers from an array of disciplines, collectively working on numerous applied research programs and projects.
